“Mary (sws) belonged to the Banū Hārūn (the tribe of Aaron). In ancient tribal languages, it is common to address someone by ascribing him or her to the forefather of that clan. For example, in the Arabic language a person belong to the Muḍar tribe would be addressed as: يا أخا مضر. Similar is the case with other tribes. In my opinion, here too this meaning is implied because at the time of an accusation it is very appropriate to say: O woman of a holy tribe of Aaron! Your father is a noble person and your mother is chaste. What a pity that you have still done such a despicable thing.” (Al-Bayan)

    similar usage:

nd strive for Allah with the endeavour which is His right. He hath chosen you and hath not laid upon you in religion any hardship; the faith of your father Abraham (is yours). He hath named you Muslims of old time and in this (Scripture), that the messenger may be a witness against you, and that ye may be witnesses against mankind. So establish worship, pay the poor-due, and hold fast to Allah. He is your Protecting friend. A blessed Patron and a blessed Helper! (Chapter (22) sūrat l-ḥaj (The Pilgrimage) verse:78)

In this verse PROPHET ABRAHIM A.S IS REFERED AS FATHER (BUT HE IS NOT FATHER OF PROPHET MUHAMMAD S.A.W OR HIS FOLLOWERS) BUT HE IS FATHER OF PROPHET ISAMIL A.S AND MUAHAMMAD S.A.W IS FROM THE DECENDEND OF PROPHET ISMAIL A.S SON OF IBRAHIM A.S .HOPE IT HELPS.
