كَذَ ٰلِكَ وَزَوَّجۡنَـٰهُم بِحُورٍ عِینࣲ ﴿ ٥٤ ﴾
• ابوالاعلی مودودی:
یہ ہوگی ان کی شان۔ اور ہم گوری گوری آہو چشم عورتیں ان سے بیاہ دیں گے (54)
Ad-Dukhan, Ayah 54
AoA. In this verse please guide as to why Allah Subhan Ta’ala mentions “gori” (white) colored women? Reason I asked is I am of the belief that only eman and taqwa makes one beautiful & preferred. How do the non white women feel?

Per Quran, we can’t imagine how Junnah will look like. People will be very happy there, never be bored and all their wishes will come true. They will have no jealousy or ill feeling but peace and tranquility.
Since Junnah can’t be compared with anything we know, Allah tried to give some examples to Arabs as they would understand. Off courses it would not be practical to include examples for all cultures or races. Allah just gave examples for Arabs. Women with white skin, big eyes and shy. A junnah with carpets, green clothes, sitting with pillows on raised platforms, rivers of milk and honey, greenry everywhere. all kinds of fruits, etc. All what an Arab of that time would wish for.
