Why Should I Love God
Assalamualaikum
It’s logical to believe in God and there is no argument that denies God or says that there should me more than one God.But why should i love that God?
Like Christians says that God for humans sent his only son for their salvation that’s why we should love Him?

God has given us chance to earn eternal bliss and blessings of in the life hereafter for a very short span of time we spend here, and here too He nourishes us, guides us, helps us, and shower His blessings on us, and of course tries us, and when we make mistake and ask for His forgiveness, He forgives us, All that we love and will love, are created and given by Him. For all this He deserves to be loved the most.

Like logically i believe in Him but how i can get to know or feel Him emotionally(i am not talking about something in a mystical way)but emotionally get attached to Him,be His friend. Like everything we does we are more afraid of Him that He would punish us than love.

The questioner said that God did put us in this test.But wasn’t it we who accepted this test according to the ayah “We presented this amanah to mountains…..but humans accepted it”

The opportunity to accept was also granted by God. Isn’t it enough to love God that He gave us the opportunity to earn an eternal life of joy and comfort? A life where neither shall we have any regrets of the past nor any fears of the future – a life where all of our desires shall be duly fulfilled. Is there anything better that anyone can ever ask for? If we truly understand and appreciate what a blessing God has granted us in the form of this worldly test, I don’t think that there could be anything or anyone ever be closer to our hearts.
