  • Charging Instalments On A Product Sold Over And Above Its Market Price

    Salam,

I have a question, which is really bothering me recently. If some one ask me to help them buy something on my credit, and they will pay in instalment to me monthly and they don’t mind to pay extra because they have longer period of time to pay the money in instalment for the product. But my question is that If I pay the company full price for the product and keep the extra money as instalment from the person to myself. Will it be jaiz in Islam?

There is nothing objectionable in the arrangement as you’re providing the person with the product and charging him extra price for the use of that product as a rent until the person pays the complete price of the original product.
