Assalamualaikum
What does Ghamidi sahab linguistically says about, like the word ahad احد , it means one, but the word wahid واحد which also has a meaning that when many things unite and become one its is now wahid,and Allah also used this word for Himself,like (وَإِلَـٰهُكُمْ إِلَـٰهٌ وَاحِدٌ ۖ لَّا إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الرَّحْمَـٰنُ الرَّحِيمُ),so it somehow can be confused with Trinity or God arab polytheists used to believe.

Wahid is one, in comparison to numbers, like two, three four. It is used to denote that God in one, not many.
Ahad means unique or ” One and Alone” to tell no one matches him.
