Quran says use your mind
I used my mind and questioned Allah.
If Allah can exist without a creator why not this universe?

It certainly can. However, do you have any evidence to support that the universe could create itself and sustains on its own? To the contrary, when we observe the universe we find clear evidence that it is created. Whenever we encounter something that’s created, there’s always a creator.
Moreover, if you’re using your mind only because the Quran asks you to do so, then you should also read the Quran to understand the arguments that it provides for the existence of the Creator.
