Negative Outcome After Istikhara
My friend did istikhara in a proper way before marriage inspite of this she got divorced in three months of marriage becuase her husband was not willing to marry her. Why this happened to her although she perform istikhara before marriage.

Istikhara is simply a dua requesting Allah to Make things easier to decide.
It is not some kind of practice. Unfortunately many think its a practical and perform it like that.

There are several aspects to this. First of all, istikhara is simply a supplication to help one decide on a difficult matter. Once a person has made the decision, istikhara doesn’t guarantee a positive outcome as it still largely depends upon the actions of people. Also, one has to understand that our worldly lives are supposed to be tests. Even if something takes place with God’s guidance but doesn’t turn out to be the way that we expected it, it might still be how God wanted to test us. Lastly, if we’re sincere in our relationship with God as well as other human beings, a lot of times we can look in the hindsight and know exactly how a conceivably negative event in our lives helped us to become better people.
