If Zakat is not paid on property by the husband, how liable is the wife? Properties are on husband’s name but wife is made beneficiary.

A person only becomes liable for zakat on any given asset when he or she owns that asset. Until the asset is at your husband’s disposal only he’s liable for zakat on it.
