Law For Non Muslims In Islamic State?
Assalamualaikum
What does Ghamidi sahab says about applying the Islamic law on non Muslims like cutting hands on robbery etc.And Zakaat is the only tax in Islamic state, so what would non Muslims pay?
So in short which law would be applied on non Muslims in an Islamic state,and secondly wouldn’t it cause a discrimination so how would that be tackled?

Islamic law doesn’t apply to non muslims, it’s just for muslims, but state can make Islamic law a state law, in that case it will apply to every individual of that country. Also majority decides which laws should be applied on individuals which happens in all democracies. State laws are discussed in parliament, it will be decided there. In short Islamic laws are for Muslims only, while as state laws like in every democracy are applied to every resident of that country.
