    When Nafal Becomes Bid'at?

    Assalamualaikum

    Regarding bid’at,when a nafal gets a specific form it becomes bid’at.So these why does Taraweeh isn’t, because it is done with special arrangements?

    And secondly Prophet SAW used to fast on Mondays as it is his day of birth. So today many people do it.But if on that principle some other person starts to fast every week on the day of birth and it gets a special form and becomes gradually tradition on the name of religion. Would that be bid’at?

    I think there is no limit on Nafals, but if someone makes those Nafals Fard or how those Nafals to be performed as Fard, then it may be Bidat.
