I’m trying very hard to understand that bodybuilding is a great development in today’s world. Has man always been aware of this because it makes me think that this development of today’s man if it already exists in the knowledge of God. So why didn’t this development happen earlier?

Body building as an art form is an invention post Industrial Age
Men always knew that working hard and doing heavy duty work will build muscles and strength. There r many strong men in history but they r form of Power lifters than body builders.
I don’t understand what bodybuilding has to do with God? It’s was a known capacity in human known since Greeks. U can look at statue of David and older Greek gods, well sculpted muscles will be evident. So man alway knew about building muscles and strength but it became art much later
