Knowledge And Belief
Assalamualaikum
(The premise of mine, i am also pretty in doubt about that ,but….)
There is a difference between knowing and believing. ‘Knowing’ means that you possess knowledge, are shrewd, suggestive or deliberate. On the other hand, ‘believing’ means that you have accepted something to be true, or you are confident and have trust in something. For example: you believe that you are beautiful, but people know that you are not or before we used to believe that earth was static and sun rotates around the earth( based on evidences we had at that time) but today it’s opposite. So what would be right to say that “I know that God exists” or “I believe (based on the evidences in my knowledge) that God exists”?
