Necessary Suffering In This Test Created By God
I feel like when you believe, you get tested with a lot of suffering and agony and pain. That’s what evident from the lives of Prophets and their followers.
Why is it not enough that one follows all the principles of religion and stays away from major sins, why can’t he live a peaceful life without major calamities falling on him, like people who get killed just for believing in God, why such a huge test? Okay, test humans but if they are doing most of the things that you have asked them to do, why inflict them with such pain, what good comes out of it.
Does believing in God means signing up for suffering?

Suffering one way or other is human destiny, not because one believes or doesn’t believe in God. This is the scheme of test God has ordained. However God had informed us that we signed up for this test with our free will. We took up this huge responsibility which the heavens and the earth refused to hold. This was because human nature entices him to accept challenges even if he suffers or fail. Climbing the dangerous mountains, going to space with no guarantee to return tells that humans are quite capable of leaping into the dark if there is a hope that he will succeed and get something really big.
