    Assalamualaikum

In Salaat we add a part of Quran after Fatiha, is it allowed that often we are reading ignoring the context. Like in the first rakat one starts from that “Al-Quran

    Surah No. 2 – Ayah No. 17

    Translation:

Their example is that of one who kindled a fire, but when it illuminated what was around him, Allah took away their light and left them in darkness [so] they could not see.”

Now there is a whole context behind it from where the discussion came here. So is it allowed?

If not then in cases of need like one is memorizing the Quran and to repeat his memorization in the prayer, he starts with the newly memorized Aayat?

It is not necessary to include the contextual verse too with a certain verse or verses, the context is in the knowledge of the reader, so by reading a verse, it is for him, like he is reading or reciting a comment or conclusion of God in the background of a situation.
