Can Women Wear Red Color Dress
Salam,
I heard some scholars saying women should not wear dress/burkha of red, pink etc. Because these colors in self is an attraction.
I heard women of prophet used to wear red. Can anyone clarify. If we can wear dress with less embroidery / different colors etc??

As some scholars say red colour itself is eye-catching/adornment for women.

Umer sahab’s explanation is general regardless of gender. He also expounds upon the principles of determining halal and haram.
The short answer is that there’s no absolute prohibition of wearing any color for either men or women. However, like anything else, if one finds any immoral aspect in anything (for example a certain color is worn in order to deliberately attract others for an illicit activity) then of course it would be haram.
