Unjustified Removal Of Hijab For Female Slaves
Asalamoalaikum Sir(s)
I have searched for threads regarding this topic, and the only replies are threads that only discuss the tip if the iceberg, rather than the specifics of what the person asks.
May I please request that moderators look at exactly what im asking for in my question?
please provide the reasoning, despite there being strict sharia ruling against doing so, why none mehram men can see female captive’s without hijab, even though these men have no mehram tie, nor maritial tie to them, just because these women are captives?
Whats in the status of captives, that makes it totally ok for these women to be pursued like lollipops?
Do we recall the reason why Allah commanded women to cover up in front of non mehram men?
Because men couldnt keep their hands to themselves, and there would be countless incidents of women being harassed while going throughout their day!
We thought the same would not happen to slave women?
We got rid of such an important rule for women, just because a group were slaves?
Its so bizzare, that the requirement of hijab is lifted, just because a group of women were servants.
Are these men married to these slave women? Did they, in any way show any form of commitment of taking care of her partially, that he gets automatic right to seeing her beauty?
This is not a case of overcomplicating a simple islamic command.
This is the case of men blatantly refusing to follow a simple command put in place by Allah swt. Something made crystal clear in the Quran!
When did Allah SWT tell men it was ok to look at female captives without the committment of marriage?
These captives are still women, by biology, in captivity, and out of captivity. I dont understand how a change in status causes these women’s rights of hijab to be taken away.
Werent women supposed to be jewels meant to be guarded?
We think slave women were less the jewels than free women?
Why do we think free women only deserve the priveledge of hijab and modesty, and slave women dont?
Why do we think what is dishonourable towards FREE women, is acceptable towards SLAVE women, and except them to tolerate behaviour/ treatment FREE women CANNOT bear?
