Is Loving Someone More Than Allah Shirk?
Posted by Amara Khondekar on April 2, 2022 at 9:27 amSalam,
Ramadan Mubarak
I want to know is loving someone more than you love Allah is shirk. If someone love his wife, child etc.
Loving doesn’t mean if they want alcohol getting them that.
Ruling the family based on the rule of Allah. But May be in their heart they love someone more than Allah. Is it shirk?

Allah ne Ibrahim a.s ko unke jaana Sheena ko kurban karne ka huqam diya, is vaqye ko aap azmaish ki nazar se bhi dekhe,

If a person is sincere in their belief in God, this realization sets in with time. In the meantime what’s required is that we actively prioritize the boundaries set by God over everything else.

Member April 2, 2022 at 1:59 pmSome YouTuber are saying weired thing. Like tawheed is Morning first thing thinking about Allah. Night last thing thinking about Allah. Whole day nothing should take your thinking like Allah. Really.
So if anyone does not do these regularly she is not a Muslim???
It will be very helpful if Ghamidi sir or any other scholars clear this.
Because there can be many people who are now religious. Does not think about Allah frequently..
Even as per their logic even I am not a Muslim. I think about Allah a lot. Seriously these things badly hurts me. Feeling like loosing imaan…

“Associating other gods with God Almighty is termed as polytheism (shirk) in the terminology of the Quran. It means:
a) to regard someone to have the same genre as that of God or to regard God to have the same genre as someone; or
b) to regard someone to have a role in creation or in running the affairs of the creatures and in this manner make someone God’s peer to some extent or another.
Examples of the first type of polytheism are the beliefs of Christians and the Polytheists of Arabia about Jesus (sws) and Mary (sws) and about the angels respectively. The belief of wahdat al-wujud is another example of this.
Examples of the second type are the beliefs regarding Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva in Hinduism and the beliefs regarding Ghaws, Qutub, Abdal, Data and Gharib Nawaz among Muslims. Belief in evil spirits and stars and in the powers of Satan, also belong to this category of polytheism.”
For details on Polytheism, you may want to refer to the following thread/videos provided there:
Remembering Allah day and night through words is an expression of our relationship with God, it is not mandated by religion, instead it is something which becomes a part of us, once we establish true realization of our bond with God.
