Quran 34:14 – Incident Related To Death Of Prophet Solomon (SWS)
I have a question regarding Quran 34:14, it mentions how jinn found out about death of Solomon. But it doesn’t make logical sense, what about Solomon’s family? Did no one check if he wanted food? Has not slept, returned to bed, he was supposed to be ruler of the country, no administrative affairs? Termites don’t eat wood overnight and how can a dead man remain standing for a very long time?

Where miracles happen, they are clearly singled out. Staff of Moses became a source of miracle at God’s behest. I don’t see that the stick of Solomon is mentioned in the same way.

حضرت سلیمان کی موت کا وقت آگیا اور فرشتۂ اجل نے اُن کی روح قبض کر لی۔ اُن کے اعیان و اکابر اور اہل خاندان نے جب دیکھا کہ موت کے باوجود اُن کا جسم عصا کے سہارے بدستور قائم ہے تو اُنھوں نے اِس خیال سے کہ جنات جس کام میں لگے ہوئے ہیں، وہ پایۂ تکمیل کو پہنچ جائے، اُنھیں اُسی حالت میں رہنے دیا۔ یہ تدبیر ایک عرصے تک کامیاب رہی۔ لیکن خدا کو کچھ اور ہی منظور تھا۔ چنانچہ اِس اثنا میں دیمک نے عصا کو نیچے سے کھا لیا جس کے بعد سلیمان علیہ السلام کا جسد مبارک زمین پر گر پڑا۔
