Is it permissible to buy stocks of a television channel?
If a TV channel is primarily creating and/or promoting content which falls in 5 broad categories mentioned in Quran (7:33), then such an investment should be avoided and if not, then there’s nothing wrong with such an investment.
Principles of Determining Haram:

Gone through it but I am confused about Labelling the work of that TV channel. It is a Pakistani TV network and it generally produces dramas. That have sober dress and no vulgarity. It has a news channel that is also okay. But it endorses Pakistani movies too in which girls are seen with short dress but not vulgarity like we see in English movies means no adultery. Can you please guide me on this?
This is a decision you have to make in the light of above principles.
I personally find no reasonable objection if original content created by a TV channel doesn’t include any prohibited activities.
