Preference In Witr Time
ASSALAMUALAIKUM
The real time for Witr is Tahajjud time ( as we normally say it). And there is also permission for praying after Isha. During Ramadan many people pray it behind one Imam, so would it be preferred to pray with all others just after Isha or pray alone in the real (Tahajjud ) time?

If one is sure that they are going to offer Tahajjud Salah on its proper time, then they should pray witr with that. But if not sure, then they can pray behind Imam as well.
