ASSALAMUALAIKUM
Ghamidi sahab translated Al-Quran
Surah No. 1 – Ayah No. 1
بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ ۞
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Ever Merciful.
اللہ کے نام سے جو سراسر رحمت ہے، جس کی شفقت ابدی [1] ہے
How did he get this translation like “Ever Merciful” “abdi shafqat”. And why the other translation is not more appropriate? E.g
Translation:
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

It is explained in Al Bayan by him
عربی زبان کے استعمالات کے لحاظ سے ’فعلان‘ کا وزن جوش و خروش اور ہیجان پر دلیل ہوتا ہے اور ’فعیل‘ کا وزن دوام و استمرار اور پایداری و استواری پر
اِن میں سے ایک خدا کی رحمت کے جوش و خروش کو ظاہر کر رہی ہے، دوسری اُس کے دوام و تسلسل کو۔
