What Is The Meaning Of Assalam-o-Alaikum
The literal meaning seems to be “May peace be upon you”, but there is no Allah’s name in it.
Somehow it feels like the intended meaning to be, “may Allah protect you” or “may Allah bless you”
Any thoughts?
