Does 6:89 entail each prophet mentioned earlier received a book if yes then it is historically false?

Can you kindly explain how you come to that conclusion because the verse donot say what you mentioned.
Secondly even if all prophets were given books, how can you be sure that they were not given the books because its a possibility that books didnt survive.The verse is talking in general sense about people who were guided but still chose the wrong path. For details click here
