  • Missing Fajr And Offering That Any Other Time

    Assalamualaikum

If i by mistake miss Fajr for example and woke up after Fajr, would i pray at that time or i can do qada any other time maybe before Zuhur? In this regard we get a popular Hadith which says that, if you miss Fajr by mistake and woke up after Fajr then that time you woke up that is your time for pray. If this Hadith is Sahih then does it become Wajib to pray at that time i woke up or i can complete my sleep and can pray before Zuhur also?

As soon as one comes out of state of Usar or out of state where one was incapacitated to offer Salah (like in Sleep), then it is their due time of Salah. This Hadith is right in accordance with the principle mentioned in Quran. So as a principle, when you’re sleeping (due to any reason), then prayer becomes due as soon as you wake up. Delaying it after waking up on purpose would tantamount to making it Qaza intentionally.
