  • Why Did God Feel Need To Make A Point To Satans In The Story Of Prophet Ayub?

As we know from Hazrat Ayub’s story that he was made to through really cruel tests because some satans had objected that he is only grateful to God because he has been blessed with everything.

Why did God feel the need to prove it to them?

God doesn’t need to prove anything. This is a practice of God to test human beings. Even prophets of God were tested according to this practice.

But from the story it looks like if the Satans hadn’t said ‘He is grateful because Allah has given him everything’ then he won’t be tested. It looks like he was tested because the Satans made that excuse.

As Ahsan sahab stated above everyone goes through trials and tests in this life according to the scheme of God. If Prophet Ayub wasn’t tested for one reason he would still be tested for another.

Even if God tested Ayub SAW to prove Satan wrong, there’s nothing to be concerned about that. Quran tells us that the reason for sending prophets is so that His creation is left with no excuses against God on the Day of Judgement.
