Just wondering that there is a great amount of reference to Egypt and Pharoah in Quran, but no mention of Pyramids. Why?

But Quran does mention great structures and buildings by many others in the history as a lesson that Allah destroyed them regardless of their power. Pyramids seems to be the greatest example and it could have been served as a symbol of Allahs power for thousands of years later, just as Quran mentions preservation of Pharaoh’s dead body.

Yeah but do u know if the nation who built it was destroyed. The mention of pharaoh was in reference to Prohet Moses only. Though all king of Egypt were called pharaohs in old time.

My inclination is that since the Quran only argues with those facts that are well known amongst its direct addressees, the Arabs at the time might have not been well aware of the Pyramids of Giza.
