Quran 2:2 – No Doubt In It Being The Book Of God
Assalamualaikum
In Surah AlBaqara 2-3 Quran says that:
This is the Book of God.[2] There is no doubt in it being the Book of God.
Two interpretations come in mind. Like first is Quran claiming that it is the book of God and then answering itself that there is no doubt in it. And that you can test it.
Or secondly because it is revealed in Madinah so it is pointing towards the “fact” that it is the Book of God and that people (Jews and polytheists in makkah) don’t have any doubt in it, “but the guidance is for those who are God-fearing” (as came in the third Aayah).
So is it first claim and then answer to claim itself or is it pointing towards the “fact” that people have faith in it being the Book of God?
