Is giving Riba or Sood prohibited when one doesn’t have any urgent need such as in order to grow a business further that is already sustaining itself? So, getting interest based loans from banks in this case would be prohibited, right?

Since, no instructions given and no condemnation came for the payer of Riba, he or she can borrow with Riba for any of their needs, the receive of interest is obliged to not to take it.

But doesn’t it promote the Interest based business and makes it more stronger?

The same support is given to this system by the ones who have current accounts. The payer has no responsibility. this is an obligation on the receiver. People can’t wait for their needs, immediate or moderate, to fulfil, nor does God made them responsible to eliminate this evil but curtailing their needs.
