  • History Of Salah And Zakat And Connection With Mairaj

My question related to the title is that how did we come to know that Allah’s prophets had always offered prayer (Namaz) and zakat had also existed ever since?

Were the two existed the way they do now? What were the differences in the two, if any?

I’d totally appreciate if you could tell me the references to books and other sources where I could read and learn about it myself.

Lastly, should we recite “Attahiyyat” in nazaz or not? Is there any authenticity of it in the context of Waqia e Mairaj? When was it included in Namaz and who (people and school of thought) did it first?

Could you please share reference for Attahiyat being not related to Meraj. What is the reality about people sourcing attahiyat to Meraj. I was trying to find in above links but couldn’t find. JazakAllah.

How can there be any reference for the nonexistence of something?

      True Faisal bhai,

I was thinking more on lines of pointing out from where or how some people attribute Attahiyat to meraj, the inadequacy of that claim.

But I understand that the onus to prove validity is on those who claim that there is link between Attahiyat and Meraj.

      Thanks
