Long Divorce Procedure
My friend’s husband has filed for divorce in USA it will take about 2+ years to be finalized in court in USA. She does not want a divorce. My friend wants to know that since he has filed for divorce would she be islamically divorced after 90 days of his filing . It is important as he comes home to meet kids and sometimes sleep over also ( in a separate bedroom )

Generally in the U.S. a divorce procedure does not take more than a few months, however, assuming that it takes longer, the actual divorce will only be considered valid once it has been finalized by the court. There’s no Islamic law in regards to automatic divorce after 90 days.
