  Seeing the recent floods & destruction many are questioning why is God punishing the poor & not the rich most of the times? Why does He gets angry?

  these are not punishments but warning.

  All the sufferings in recent floods is due to mismanagement, poor construction etc. It is principle of cause and effect.
