Sunnah Sports
As’salamualaikum,
Is horse riding, swimming and archery sports encouraged by the prophet and can we call them as “sunnah sports” ?

In Ghamidi sb understanding, sunnah (source of religion) are acts which are transmitted perpetually throughout the time since prophet Ibrahim (as) reinstated or corrected by Prophet Mohammad saw. see for details Discussion 49769 • Reply 49794
since matters of sport is not part of religion, cannot call them sunnah.
Other than dietry law, every thing is permissible unless there is injustice, lewdness or shirk. For detail see -
