Why Quran Does Not Address Women When Talking About Spouses In The Paradise?
In Surah Al-Bakarah verse 25 the believers are given the glad tidings of azwajun mutaharatun, which Ghamdi saheb has translated to be “paak biwian” or “pure wives”, can it possibly mean “pure spouses”? Otherwise, it seems that the glad tidings are only for believing men and not believing women as if women are merely offered as a reward to men.
