Selection Of A Prophet (Contradiction In Ghamidi Sahab's Stance)
In the video on YouTube, Meezan-Alhikmah- part 57 – belief in the day of judgement.
At around 8 mins in the video. Ghamidi sahab says one can reach the level of swaliheen, siddiqeen and shohda. But nabiyeen is only granted by Allah. But the verse Ghamidi sahab was quoting doesn’t say that. It is talking about all 4 together. If someone can explain why the exception only for nabiyeen, it will be helpful.

Another verse says that see 33: 40
مَّا كَانَ مُحَمَّدٌ أَبَا أَحَدٍ مِّن رِّجَالِكُمْ وَلَٰكِن رَّسُولَ اللَّهِ وَخَاتَمَ النَّبِيِّينَ ۗ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمًا
God has told us the status of prophethood can’t be earned. It is the selction of God. see 22: 75
اللَّهُ يَصْطَفِي مِنَ الْمَلَائِكَةِ رُسُلًا وَمِنَ النَّاسِ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ سَمِيعٌ بَصِيرٌ

وَإِذَا جَآءَتْهُمْ آيَةٌ قَالُوْا لَنْ نُّؤْمِنَ حَتَّى نُؤْتَى مِثْلَ مَا أُوتِيَ رُسُلُ اللّهِ اللّهُ أَعْلَمُ حَيْثُ يَجْعَلُ رِسَالَتَهُ سَيُصِيْبُ الَّذِيْنَ أَجْرَمُواْ صَغَارٌ عِنْدَ اللّهِ وَعَذَابٌ شَدِيْدٌ بِـمَا كَانُوْا يَـمْكُرُوْنَ
“When a sign came before them, they would say: “We will never believe in it until we are given what God’s messengers were given.” God knows better whom to entrust with the position of His messengerhood. Soon these wrongdoers will face a humiliating and severe torment with God for their intrigues”. (Quran 6:124)
