I found a tortoise near Swan river. Can I bring it home?

In my defense, the water it drinks from is not clean and getting more and more polluted. If it would be disliked by Allah for me to bring it home, I will not touch it

If you can ensure cleanliness then there is no problem. The key thing to understand is that Islam requires purity (tazkiya) in all aspects of our lives.

Thank you sir. But my question is also what about wild animals. Like can we bring them out of their natural environment for our own feeling of love towards them? I have heard that Allah tala created this world for us. So, sorry for late elaboration but I’m wondering if I’m allowed to pick up animals by by own will? Other than for eating but rather for my emotional attachment

      Thank you

Unless there is a specific purpose such as using them for riding, eating their meat, or helping them in some way, animals should not be driven out of their natural environments.
