Women Cutting Their Fingers For Prophet Yusuf And Viewpoint Of Ghamidi Sahab
I once saw a video wherein Ghamdi sahib was saying that it was not Yusuf’s beauty that made the women cut their hands but it was the trick of those women to act like that so that prophet Yusuf would fall for it and fall for that Temptaion!
My question is ; is this correct view?
Why do so many people day it was because Prophet Yusuf was very beautiful? Why does no one mentions that no it was their psychological trick to seduce Yusuf in that way to strike the ego ? Can someone explain it to me kindly.

The following verses, their act has been called Makr which means trick. The other interpretation is famous but does not conform to the description of Quran which calls it trick, not an inadvertent act of amazement of the women.

But then why is the governors wife desiring Yusuf while he is just a slave in their house?
And why would they call him Malakun kareem? And cut their fingers? Isn’t the first explanation more logical than just merely a trick? Why would they cut their fingers while the governors wife wanted to show them why they are gossiping about her and Yusuf!
