Like just you are out with Jews/Christian friends and they worship God in a way that doesn’t include any shirk, so would Islam allow that?

The question is why would a Muslim not worship in his or her own way even in the presence of Jews or Christians?

It is not the right approach to come up with needless hypothetical situations and contemplate upon generic answers from Islam’s standpoint. Every situation is unique and given the details of any situation a reasonable answer should be sought instead.

If the worshiping way of Jews and Christians did not contains any sort of shirk….. Then it’s the way of Islam. Any person worshiping only and only Allah no matter in which way it is the way of Islam.

    What is worshiping?

It is the way to talk with the aal mighty allah, just to describe our prays, and to ask about our problems and their solutions, guidence, and in the last we must thank full from the core of our heart. That’s all.

Forms of worship are taught by God, so we have no reason to adopt any other forms of worship. Worshipping, not only in essence, but in form also has been prescribed by God.

To worship God is one thing and to obey Him another. By following the forms of worship we obey God as He wants us to. This is called complete submission and we have no choice of innovating or inventing ways of worshipping God. He is supposed to be worshiped the way He has prescribed Himself. This is why Bidah is Haram even though the intention of the worshipper is good.
