Repeating Darood On Prophet (sws) 100 Times Or More
Question is darood sharif is a dua for our beloved Prophet [saw]. Its like wishing to God in english and we understand that.
But if we wish to God once that I’d sufficient to say that He heard and darood is obviosuly something God always accepts. My question is what about reciting darood sharif many times in a row on a tasbeh like 100 or 1000 times for example! Is it aloud because you are basically asking again and again to God send blessings. Is it good and has effect or is it disrespectfully because you already asked it to God but now u are keep repeating it , your request as if He doesn’t listened! Kindly explain someone?

It is all about our affiliation with the prophet. We find ourselves praying again and again, for example, for our success or for our beloved relations for their forgiveness or recovery from an ailment, etc. So asking for the blessing of God for the prophet shows our affiliation with the prophet and with Deen too. That is why such things are not made compulsory or a part of shariah.
