Moderator November 12, 2022 at 1:33 pmAs long as they are just feelings within oneself then they don’t come under the immoralities prohibited under Quran verse 7:33. However, we are naturally predisposed to know such feelings against others as being wrong.

And in this verse when Allah is telling about the “only” morally forbidden things in Islam, and other places in Ahadith and teachings of Prophets we get these “individual” feelings condemned to such a great extent as mentioned in the above camel example, then where is the place for these “individual” feelings of hatred, envy, arrogance in the verse 7:33 where “only” forbidden things are mentioned? If no place, then to have these feelings are not haram and will not be asked for them? (But the above camel example confutes the latter interpretation)?
