Is it halal to abort kittens so a cat can have a neutering surgery?
For background- after the previous litter, our cat was bleeding for a couple of days which was very unusual. No real issues developed though. The plan was to get her neutered but now she is pregnant.
The vet says they can abort the kittens and then do the surgery.
Would this be halal?

In principle, we should not hurt any life-forms without any legitimate reason. Whether your reason is legitimate enough or not is for you to decide according to your own situation. Given the information, if I was in your situation I would not abort the kittens.
