    Assalamualaikum

In non Muslim countries when a Muslim goes to eat at a restaurant so fish, vegetarian or vegan is chosen. But at some places e.g at burger shops like Macdonald’s etc, it happens the fish is ordered but there is always a chance that the fish oil is perhaps contaminated with some drops of meat oil. So in that case shall fish from these shops become haram or perhaps not haram but non-recommended?

But in this case, first if some haram thing is fried or cooked in some oil then does that oil also becomes contaminated that if you cook a halal thing in the same oil then it’s ok?

Secondly, if some drops of the oil above mentioned spills in some clean oil then would that oil be also regarded as contaminated and can’t used? (If drops spill also then doesn’t warming up that oil makes it ok to use)?

As it has been explained in the link above, the real prohibition is that of consuming the flesh of swine. Ancillary matters are for the consumer to decide on their own.
