Understanding Sahih Muslim 7194
Abu Huraira (ra) reported Allah’s Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) as saying: “Two are the types amongst the denizens of Hell, the one possessing whips like the tail of an ox and they flog people with their help. (The second one) the women who would be naked in spite of their being dressed, who are seduced (to wrong paths) and seduce others with their hair high like humps. These women would not get into Paradise and they would not perceive the odour of Paradise, although its fragrance can be perceived from such and such distance (from great distance).”
The hadith’s authenticity is confusing to me, if Allah has originally prohibited the Murder and Zina, then how the people who keeps whips with them and the women who prefer immodest clothing, would not even perceive the odour of Paradise during the day of judgement. even when after all, every Muslim will be taken out from the Hell, then how such people will always be in the torment of hell?
Is this hadith authentic or or my understanding of this hadith is wrong? Kindly clarify.
