Usage Of The Word Lord
My question is regarding the usage of the word Lord with humans.
As we say in english like this is Lord Charles or Lord Hemmington.
Or lets say for someone who writers a story and uses for example Lord Raven went to the Tree. Is it halal to use this term om Islam? Because I heard that the only Lord is Allah. Which is obvious to any muslim. But when we use the term Lord among humans or in story telling we are just refereing to the person with respect. Or someone with high status Lord. I think in arabic they say sayyid for that not sure.
So are we allowed to say Lord among us humans to each other without the intention of shirk?

God is the Lord of everything. The worldly usage of the word to refer to other people is not in the same meaning and it cannot be considered impermissible.
