Looking At Place Of Prostration While Qiyam
hello, Assalaam u alaykum,
my question is that is looking at the place of Prostration a Sunnah (in a real sense of Sunnah, passed with Ijma tawattur)?
and also it’s said that some people of maliki fiqh say that one must look straight into the direction of kabah, and they use these ayahs as reference 2:144, 2:149-150 where words of turning faces towards masjid al Haram are used. so please can you clear these 2 points? is any of them at level of Sunnah? or it’s just mustahab in the aspect, that wherever a person finds more kushu?

No such detail came from the prophet. It is suggested by Fuqaha. One may or may not adopt it.

sir in any way. can it be said or interpreted in any way that ayat mentioned above can be used to say that it’s said to look straight forward?
