Is Leaving Witr Salah Considered Makruh?
Asselamu aleyküm,
I’ve heard from somewhere that leaving Witr prayers is considered Majruh (“disliked”) in Islam, is it true? Even in an emergency or difficulty?
Kindly clarify.

witr prayer after Isha, in fact, is Nafl, not wajib, as Ahnaaf presume, and Nafl prayers are optional. One should avail them but there is no compulsion or kind of dislike in leaving them with or without reason or excuse.
