بائبیل کے مطابق ان کی عمر 950 سال تھی۔ مگر قرآن مجید نے بتایا کہ یہ مدت ان کی تبلیغ کی مدت ہے۔ اس کا مطلب ان کی عمر اس سے زائد تھی۔ اس سے زیادہ معلومات دستیاب نہیں۔

بائبیل سے معلوم ہوتا ہے کہ دیگر لوگوں کی عمریں بھی اتنی طویل تھیں۔ تاہم یقین سے کچھ کہا نہیں جا سکتا۔ قرآن مجید میں اس بارے میں کوئی علم نہیں دیا گیا۔

  It can’t be a miracle though because then Allah would only be punishing the descendants of the kafir with the flood and sparing the ancestors which also witnessed Hazrat Nooh but he would have outlived them due to his long age.
  
  So the idea that long ages were common in that unknown era seems to make more sense.
