I want to buy a software it’s quite expensive it’s subscription based they offer discount for students I’m not a student but I have a friend that’s student and I can ask him to buy it and then give me access is it okay or not ?

If something is morally wrong then it is not permissible in Islam. If you purchase something at a student discount, you agree to the company’s license / terms of use. Some companies allow students to share their software/service with friends and family, while others do not. Please read the agreement and make sure to not violate it.
