حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ، وَزُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، وَعُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، قَالُوا: حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ، أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ: «لَعَنَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ آكِلَ الرِّبَا، وَمُؤْكِلَهُ، وَكَاتِبَهُ، وَشَاهِدَيْهِ»، وَقَالَ: «هُمْ سَوَاءٌ»
Iss hadith me ustaad muhtaram ne kaha hai ke “مُؤْكِلَ se muraad sood Dene wala muraad nahi hai balki woh log muraad hain jo sood par Paisa dilwate they”

This is Ism e Fail اسم فاعل from the transitive verb افعال which means the one who makes someone eat. It can be applied to the one who pays the interest to the moneylender or to the one who assists as a tout for the moneylender. This application of the word is logical.
