What are the things that have to be decided on the basis of intellect and which one should bedecided on the basis of religion? For example, while dealing with worldly things, is it necessary to use pure intellect or worldly things should be viewed from the perspective of religion?

Religion comes in matters where our intellect fails to know or establish something metaphysical, like the actuality of God and the day of judgment, or ethical like the status of usury, criteria for Mehram and na mehram etc.

Moreover, for the application of religious injunctions, we have to use our intellect, e.g. in matters of qiyas or how to distribute the prescribed share from inheritance i.e., by selling the property or by giving the portion of the property etc.

Secular things like how to build a house or what job suits you, are matters of pure intellect to decide.

Examining both parts of your answer, it is found that the function of intellect is to see secular matters, although this intellect is also given by the same Lord. Whereas in matters where our intellect is not in a position to make a decision such as life after death or as you referred to things. Then the worldly things or their purpose will be determined purely by my intellect, so that I do not have to resort to religion to order them?

right. We consult religion in secular matters only when there is some ethical or moral question.
