Zakat On Plot Kept As Investment
For example if the rate of increment of my plot is 1 lakh rupee per year and zakat amount is also 1 lakh, suposed if I kept land for 30 year land price increased upto 30 lakh and I have paid 30 lakh zakat, rupee value will be very low after 30 year. What is the use of this investment then only to give zakat. My question is does islam discourage land investment

The purpose of Islam is not the extract maximum money from a Muslim, but to make him mindful of his duties according to his capacity. So whenever the money comes in hand which is equal or more than the nisab, a Muslim is supposed to pay his zakat.
